Industry Visit

Department of Aquaculture (School of Agriculture) organized a visit to Samradhi Fish Farm Bhopal on 08-05-2023 for visit cum exhibition on Fish farm, Recirculatory Aquaculture System and Biofloc System. This visit was beneficial for the students of M.F.Sc. (Aquaculture) SoAg where they learnt about the importance and need of advances system. Mr. Rohit Kumar delivered their expert talks and short hands on training on various tools and equipment used for RAS and biofloc technology.

In this visit we haveinvolved several modern, farmers’ friendly technologies. Students also learnt about the various startups and how can they become the job provider rather than job seeker. The students were fully satisfied with this event and requested such events to be organized frequently for increasing their knowledge. This Program was coordinated by Dr. M.K. Yadav and Dr. Rakhi Das Assistant Professor at department of Aquaculture, School of Agriculture, SAGE University Bhopal. The efforts of all the staff members of Department of Aquaculture, School of Agriculture and technical staff is really appreciable & helped a lot in making this program successful. Dr. Deepak Kher, Dean, School of Agriculture flagged off the bus carrying 18 students for this visit and advised them to participate actively in such outside world exposure type of events.


On September 25, 2024, a group of 45 agriculture studentsand two faculty members Dr. Govind Gupta and Ms. Jyoti of School of Agriculture , Sanjeev Agrawal Global Educational University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh visited the University of Patanjali, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, as part of an educational tour. The visit was aimed at exposing students to the integration of traditional agricultural practices with modern approaches, focusing on sustainable agriculture, organic farming, and Ayurveda-based agricultural techniques.
Objectives of the Tour: - To explore sustainable agricultural practices and their alignment with Ayurveda. - To understand the role of organic farming in promoting healthy food systems. - To learn about herbal and medicinal plant cultivation. - To interact with experts and students at the University of Patanjali to gain insights into career opportunities in the field of agriculture.
Conclusion: The educational tour to the University of Patanjali was an eye-opening experience for agriculture students, providing them with practical insights into sustainable and organic farming. The integration of Ayurvedic practices in agriculture, the emphasis on soil health, and the promotion of medicinal plant cultivation offered valuable knowledge applicable to their future careers. The visit reinforced the importance of adopting traditional, sustainable methods to address modern agricultural challenges.
