MPower - Aditya Birla Education Trust

Sage College of Nursing at Sanjeev Agrawal Global Educational University, Bhopal and MPower- Aditya Birla Education Trust have Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) also referred to as “M Power” on 1 st October 2024. This collaboration aims to establish a Mental Health Club, providing opportunities for students from Sage College of Nursing and SAGE University, Bhopal to actively engage in various mental health initiatives, combat stigma associated with mental illness, promote prevention, and support individuals affected by mental health challenges.

University of Patanajali

The University of Patanjali (UoP) is named after the great Indian sage Patanjali (c. 900 BC,), who first compiled the numerous writings on Yoga in the form of aphorisms. It was established through Act No. 4/2006 of Uttarakhand State Legislature published in the State Gazette on 05.04.2006. University of Venda

SAGE University, Bhopal signed a MoU with the University of Venda on May 10, 2022. The representative Dr. NB Nthambeleni in his capacity as Vice Chancellor and Principal graced the ceremony. The University of Venda (UNIVEN) is higher institution established in terms of the Higher Education act 101 of 1997 as amended, situated in Thohoyandou, Vhembe district of the Limpopo province of South Africa. Its mission is to offer a range of undergraduate and post graduate qualifications’ in fields of study that are responsive to the development needs of the southern African region, using appropriate learning methodologies and research.

The agreement promotes international cooperation in research and education and development of exchange programs to foster common understanding between parties. The MoU will have the duration of five years with the option of renewal.

Under this MoU, both the parties joined hands for of exchange of scholars, faculty exchange, exchange of representative, exchange of researchers, exchange of administrative staff, student exchange, development of dual programs, exchange of academic information, documentation material, research and publications, development of joint research programs and creation and organization of other joint initiatives.

This main objective of this MoU is providing paid Internship for the students as per mutual concern, Conduct placement of the students, Participation in seminars, industrial and academic meetings, Organizing farmers training, short-term industrial and academic programs, Cultural exchange activities, Joint participation in international/national training courses, Joint research collaboration for promoting Sustainable Agriculture etc. This MoU will benefit the students of Agriculture in extending the reach to the start ups, getting specialized training in different organizations and grooming under the mentorship of external experts from these companies.

Bhopal School of Social Sciences

The Bhopal School of Social Sciences was founded in the year 1972-at the initiative of Most Rev Dr. Eugene D' Souza, the then Archbishop of Bhopal-in response to the need of the time for a broad-based, job-oriented curriculum with an initial focus on social service and entrepreneurship. The institution is supported and managed by the Archdiocese of Bhopal through the BSSS Foundation Society chaired by the Archbishop of Bhopal.

Firstly, Mr R G Dwivedi, President ISTD Bhopal Chapter gave a speech in which he shared his experiences and the role played by ISTD in fulfilling the gap between Industry and academia by proving quality Training to students and also threw light on the MoU benefits. He also shared that in past 1 year they have successfully conducted 22 events. Second speech and presentation was given by Mr Salil Chatterjee, National Treasurer, ISTD Bhopal. Jain Engineers Society

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between SAGE University Bhopal and Jain Engineers Society, Bhopal Chapter on 21st June 2022. Jain Engineers Society has 30 chapters across India and also overseas. Bhopal JES Chapter is a group of well qualified engineers and architects from year 1960 to 2020 batches from different branches and renowned colleges. The members have wide experience in Government, Private, Public Sector, Industry and Business as well.

The MOU will mainly focus on Counselling (Career and Psychological). In addition we would facilitate students in the entire admission process according to the stream selected. We also intend to conduct motivational session for both students and parents.

We believe that career development is a lifelong process. There are a number of factors that influence career development, including interests, abilities, values, personality, background, and circumstances. Our Career Counseling process will help the participants to know and understand their own self and the world of work in order to make career, educational, and life decisions.The goal of Career Counseling is to not only help make the decisions, but to give the knowledge and skills to make future career and life decisions.We hope to have a fruitful collaboration with Jain Engineers Society and contribute our part to the society and country at large.

Mahashakti Seva Kendra

Mahashakti Seva Kendra (MSK), an all-women’s organization empowers the victims of a massive gas leak in Bhopal that took more than 20,000 lives and was deemed as the 'Hiroshima' of the chemical industry. The incident occurred in December 1984 at the Union Carbide plant Bhopal, India. Over half a million people were exposed to Methyl Isocyanate gas and other chemicals.

Since 1992, President Mrs. Indira Iyengar has been working with the local families to support a decent livelihood for the gas affected families. After years of struggle & determination, Mrs. Iyengar was able to work with the local artisans to create nonchemical based natural dye products. The products range from Block printed Cotton based tunics, scarves, handbags to jute-based products.

MSK’s objective is not to just create a sustained livelihood for these families but to train them along the way so that they can be independent in their future pursuits.

MP Small Scale Industries Organization, Bhopal

Association of All Industries Mandideep and SAGE University Bhopal is tied up in a memorandum of understanding with the concept of “Cultivating Excellence” in the society through systematic and holistic approach towards incubating new as well as existing start-ups in the ecosystem. Association of All Industries Mandideep has been approved by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh to foster, nurture & promote start-ups in entrepreneurial activities, bearing CIN with registered office at Mandideep, India.

Intend to come together is to collaborate on various initiatives to co-create the startup ecosystem. To let students have an exposure to the real time problems and approach for the solutions. The MoU enables the interaction of the concerns to strengthen up industry-academia activities like Curriculum design, Expert advice on projects, Industrial Visits, Hands on real time problems and learning, Expert corporate lectures / talks for students and faculty.

ApplyBoard, is a Canada-based organization, World’s Largest Platform for International Student Recruitment, Admission, and Recruiter Management tied up knot with SAGE Group Educational Institutions for global exposure to the Sage students, and it also opens a window to collaborate with 1500 international universities through Applyboard.

Webinars/Seminars on study abroad options for SAGE students. This alliance will also help SAGE University marketing and advertising campaigns for getting domestic admissions. Applyboard will provide training (Counseling, Destination, Portal and Programs) to SAGE Admission team. This tie-up will help SAGE University to mark presence in International markets.

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MoA) with QUEST INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, MALAYSIA

A memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the SAGE University, Bhopal (SUB), (M.P.), India and Quest International University, Malaysia was signed to collaborate on various aspects of life and agricultural sciences and strengthen ties in academics, research and consultancies. Under this, both universities will jointly organize certificate and non-certificate courses on fields of common interest. It will help in the dissemination and advancement of knowledge in the field of Life Sciences, Agriculture Sciences & Physical Sciences. The MoA was signed on October 30, 2021 in the presence of Hon’ble Registrar-SUB, Mr. Sandeep Shrivastava along with Hon’ble Vice Chancellor- SUB, Dr. V.K. Jain, Hon’ble Director General- SUB (and mentor), Dr. Ashish Dutta. The agreement is a big step forward in achieving new international partnership for SUB and becoming a true global university by making its presence in South-East Asia. It will also open doors for our students and research scholars to visit QIU under student exchange program. On this occasion, the management of SUB and QIU congratulated each other and wished that the collaboration extends in other areas too. Later, both SUB and QIU plans to jointly conduct cutting edge research in the field of plant tissue culture (PTC) and also explore the possibilities of industrial consultancies.

Under the agreement, Dr. Ashok Khandel, SUB and Ts. Dr. Ranjetta Poobathy, QIU have jointly organized an international certificate training program on “Plant Tissue Culture for Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development” from 10th Nov. 2021 to 23rd Nov. 2021. A total of 46 participants belonging from 18 countries participated in the training program.

The event began with the welcome of Mr Navneet Vyas, President ,IAB Bhopal, Mr Vipul Chaturvedi, Secretary,IAB Bhopal, Mr.Deependra Chauhan, Ex President IAB Bhopal, Mr.Neel Kelkar, Vice President, IAB, Bhopal, Mr Sourabh Jain, Treasurer IAB Bhopal and Dr V K Jain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor – Sage University. Welcome address was given by Dr Manoj Bhatia, HOS – SOM, Sage University. Firstly, Mr Navneet Vyas, President IAB Bhopal gave a speech in which he shared his experiences and the role played by IAB in fulfilling the gap between Industry and academia by providing job to quality students and also threw light on the MoU benefits. He also shared that in past 2 years they have successfully established 400 units where they need semi-skilled and skilled employees. Second speech and presentation was given by Mr Vipul Chaturvedi, Secretary, IAB Bhopal. He shared their expectations from this MoU. He explained the benefits of a mutual collaboration that these kinds of MoU are a win-win situations for both the parties. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SAGE University, Dr. V. K. Jain also shared his words of inspiration. He emphasized on the exchange program of students of SUB and employees of IAB for the same. He congratulated all the representatives and addressed that we are looking forward for activities under this MoU.

Express Media Service (EMS) is an established name in the field of media (electronic, print, web and mobile communication) since 1991 and accredited by the Bureau of outreach and communications, Government of India. As pioneer group of EMS TV, SAGE University Bhopal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EMS TV for the purpose of promoting acdemics and research.

The organisations came to an agreement on faculty development programs, promotion of events through mutually agreed media for both the sides and advertisemnet of SAGE University.

SAGE University Bhopal has signed MoU with NAAC 'A' Grade Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) Bhopal M.P. In this MoU SAGE University Bhopal and IEHE will be collaborate Mooc/e-content Lectures, Seminars, Workshop, Pannel Discussion in Urban Rural Governance with Administrative Agencies etc. Director IEHE Dr. Pragyesh Agrawal along with the team of Senior Professors of IEHE signed up the MoU.

CSIR-NBRI

As CSIR-NBRI is a pioneer institute in the field of plant-based research and commercialization of plant-based products, SAGE University Bhopal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow.

The benefits of this MoU, will work jointly for establishment of a floriculture unit for propagation of work at SAGE University Bhopal, (SUB) M.P., under floriculture mission. Apart from that, both institutions will also work closely in preparing common research programmes, faculty development programs, and Industry-oriented student development programs to generate appropriately trained manpower in the related areas through organization of formal academic curricula, symposia, short term training courses, etc.

This MoU was done due to splendid efforts shown by an interaction between Dr. Puneet Singh Chauhan, from CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow with Dr. Govind Gupta from SAGE School of Agriculture, SAGE University Bhopal.

Sage University, Bhopal has signed a Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with Synergy University, Moscow, Russia. Synergy University is one of the most prestigious Universities in Russia. They offer the curriculum focused on contemporary tendencies and perspectives, providing high quality of educational programs equal to European, Canadian and American Universities at lower costs.

With this agreement, the students from the Sage University will get the opportunity to study in these universities under an exchange program. SAGE University, Indore signed MOU with Apple Inc under “iOS Developer University Program”–A free program designed for higher education institutions looking to introduce iOS development into their curriculumand Authorized Apple Training Center (AATC) .
