M. Des. Fashion Design

Overview

The study of garment design addresses current and emerging issues in functionality, the environment, and socioeconomic development by investigating materials, techniques, and technology. It also emphasizes process-centric learning. The program's goal is to teach pupils how to be creative and accountable designers capable of managing various aspects of the present, diverse, and fiercely competitive apparel industry. Following a foundation semester, students are given area-specific inputs that gradually increase in difficulty. "Science and Liberal Arts," "History of Costume and Fashion Design," and "Design Management" are among the subjects that contribute to a well-rounded education. Project-based learning encourages students to explore their creative capacities, resulting in the development of skills and intellectual abilities. Students enhance their cooperation abilities through research-based instruction. The M. Des in Fashion Design focus is a popular choice for students who want to develop their creative side and create sophisticated ensembles.

A fashion design concentration allows you to learn about all of the materials, designs, patterns, colors, and trends that define a certain era's fashion. It includes shoes, purses, and accessories, as well as apparel and trends. A course in fashion design covers all of these areas in greater depth than any other.
