Interior design is the art and science of enhancing the interior of a building to achieve a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the people using the space. An interior designer is someone who plans, researches, coordinates, and manages such enhancement projects. This four year graduate program in interior design has been devised to offer to eligible students specialization in a wide range of concepts and techniques involved in organizing, managing, and planning the interiors of spaces, by understanding people’s behavior and needs. The aim is to refurbish the places so that it reflects the choices and nature of the people occupying it.

The course aims to educate students about the techniques and art of converting artistic talent and creativity in beautifying living spaces, involving choice and decoration of walls, roofs, floors, besides choice and placement of furniture and other indoor objects, lighting, and control of visual and sound effects, and anything that adds to the style and usability of the built environment.
