About Conference

Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, with rising temperatures, deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, and land degradation posing serious threats to globaI food security. By 2050, the world population is projected to reach 9.7 billion, further intensifying pressure on agriculture already impacted by climate variability. Reports from FAO and UNEP caution against declining crop yields, desertification, and loss of fertile land if timely interventions are not implemented.

In this context, the National Conference on Developments in Climate Change and Sustainable Agriculture will serve as a platform for experts, researchers, and policymakers to deliberate on issues such as abiotic and biotic stresses , sustainable n puts including bioinoculants, vermicompost, and biofertilizers, as well as the role of genetics, microbiology, and biotechnology in agriculture.

The conference aims to foster innovative solutions, address challenges and opportunities in climateresilient farming, promote sustainable practices, and align agricultural growth with the Sustainable develpment Goals(SDGs).
