Second Convocation Ceremony

SAGE University, Bhopal successfully hosted its Second Convocation Ceremony at the university campus on August 30, 2025. The event celebrated the academic achievements of graduating students and honored distinguished individuals for their contributions to various fields. The degrees were conferred upon the students by Er. Sanjiv Agrawal Chancellor, SAGE University (Bhopal & Indore). Graduates from the 2024 and 2025 sessions across faculties including Management, Journalism, Science, Technology, Arts, Commerce, Agriculture, Design, Pharmaceutical, Advanced Computing, and Law received their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a grand ceremony held at the Royal Sage Hall. The Chief Guest for the occasion, T.C. Sitaraman, Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, addressed the students, stating that Sage University is making a meaningful contribution to educational quality, industry-oriented skill development, and the creation of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India). During the ceremony, several eminent personalities were conferred with honorary degrees (Honoris Causa); Govind Namdev, renowned film actor, was awarded an honorary Ph.D. for his contribution to the field of Arts. The D.Litt. (Honoris Causa) was awarded to Air Marshal Sanjiv Guratia (AVSM) for his contribution to the Defense sector; Satyanarayan, Paralympic Coach, for the field of Sports; Nand Kishor Kagliwal for AgroIndustry Development and Vikrant Tripathi for the field of Science. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Prashant Jain Pro-Chancellor, SAGE University (Bhopal & Indore), Dr. Ashish Dutta, Director General, Pro-ViceChancellor, Registrar, Deans, HoS, HoDs faculty members, and research scholars of various schools of the University.
