M. Tech. in Artificial Intelligence is a 2- year postgraduate course divided into 4 semesters, with each year containing 2 semesters. Artificial Intelligence is the science and engineering of making computer machines able to perform tasks which normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition etc.

Candidates with interest in Mathematics, Physics and Biology, especially Mathematical Logic, are best suited for the course. They are also needed to be familiar with major programming languages such as C, Lisp and Prolog. Such candidates would also ideally be familiar with machine languages.
