School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences conducted a workshop on 10th October; which is known as “World Mental Health Day”. Students pursuing BA and MA Psychology engaged in various activities throughout the week; 3rd to 8th October to spread awareness and de-stigmatize the taboo around mental health. Dr Rachna Dave (Professor & Psychologist) interacted with students and enlightened the audience with various aspects of mental wellbeing and coping strategies for stress. Students involved in various interactive activities like; mindful eating which was introduced to them by Ms Radhika Sahu, Assistant Professor (Psychology) & coordinator of the workshop. Students learned about the signifance of being mindful instead of being mind full. About 99 students participated in the workshop.
