On February 4, 2024, Sage University, Bhopal hosted the prestigious Student's Choice Awards ceremony at the Royal Sage Hall. Executive Director, SAGE Group, Ar. Shivani Agrawal recognized numerous teachers from various schools across Bhopal.
During the ceremony, Pandit Vijay Shankar Mehta Ji, a renowned life management guru and columnist, delivered a profound speech on the theme "Hum Honge Kamiyaab." He emphasized the indispensable role of teachers, asserting that without them, the acquisition of knowledge, even divine wisdom, would be unattainable. Mehta Ji also highlighted the importance of instilling in children an understanding of the roles of parents and family as foundational for creating a better society.
The Student Choice Awards, an annual program organized by Sage University Bhopal, celebrated the contributions of teachers in the field of school education. This year, exceptional and influential school teachers from Bhopal were honored through this program.
Addressing the audience, Ar. Shivani Agrawal emphasized that every student finds inspiration in at least one teacher, whose impact endures throughout their lives. She stressed the significance of preparing students for the workforce starting from the school level.
The event, which was successfully held on the SUB campus, saw the participation of approximately 1000 prominent teachers, educationists, and companions from Bhopal for felicitation. Among the esteemed schools represented were Sanskar Valley School, Billabong School, DPS School, Carmel, St. Joseph's School, St. Xavier's, St Raphael's School, and many more. Mr. Sarvesh Shukla, Group Director, extended a warm welcome to all the teachers of the schools and briefed all about the outline of the event. Dr. V.K. Jain, Vice-Chancellor, Sage University Bhopal, alongside Pro. V.C. Dr. Neeraj Upmanyu and Dr. Ankur Saxena, as well as department heads, faculty, and staff, graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the grandeur of the event.
