M.Tech Thermal Engineering

Overview

M. Tech in Thermal Engineering is a two-year postgraduate programme. The theory and applications of thermal engineering are covered in the curriculum of thermal engineering. The Thermal Engineering course focuses on real-time fluid flow and heat transfer applications in thermal energy systems as well as refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The core courses are intended to give students the foundation they need to pursue specific electives and projects in the domains of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermal design, and component development. The course focuses on the main areas of Thermal and Energetic engineering, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, and environmental issues, as well as energy efficiency and energy saving programmes. Students are working in numerous facilities such as the Heat Transfer Lab, Computational Fluid Dynamics Lab, and Advanced Thermal Sciences Lab to complete practical classes.
